The 110 ft. Bailey bridge at Bhuntar which was damaged due to crossing of heavy machinery (Turbine etc.) on 13/14.6.2008 at the late night hours was restored in a record time after Thakur Gulab Singh, the Public Works Minister visited the site along the Engineer in Chief on 16.6.2008. The new bridge was reopened by the Secretary (PW) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh yesterday and regular traffic has been resumed.
