Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, thanked the people of the state, especially Hamirpur constituency for electing Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) candidate, Anurag Thakur, as their Minister of Parliament. He said, the landsliding victory of Anurag Thakur illustrates the proficient working of the new BJP government in the state.
He thanked the people for their immense faith in the party’s policies and programmes, which showed up in shape of Thakur’s big margin victory of 1,74,666 votes.
He also added that his government is committed towards the development of the state and did not believe in the false promises and political stunts of other parties. He said further that the Government is committed to weed out the corruption from the public life besides maintaining transparency in the government functioning.
Raised in Shimla and originally from Mandi district, Disha wears many caps which includes being part of a lead team of a fast growing IT company based out of Chandigarh. Earlier Disha was associated with My Himachal and visits Shimla regularly.
