73 percent polling recorded in Kasauli Cantt Board poll

After waiting long the civilians of Kasauli Cantonment Board has finally managed to see their representations in Board functioning. In a Cantt Board, poll result announced yesterday, all six winners from their respective wards have recorded a thumping win over their rivals. As many as 2215 voters out of total 3040, cast their votes in poll. From ward no 1, Mr. Manmohan Kanwar got better of Mr. Ramakant Mittal. While Mr. Kanwar secured 139 votes, the loser could get only 94 votes.

In ward no 2 the veteran, Mr. Krishnamurti recorded win by getting 242 votes out of the total 407 votes polled in ward. The runner up, Mr. Suresh Jain got 161 votes. The ward no 3 witnessed poor voting where Vimla Dass declared winner by getting 158 votes. From ward no 4 and 5, Lekh Ram (251 votes) and Krishna (156 votes) emerged winners with healthy difference vote margin from their rivals their rivals. In ward no 6, Mr. Davinder Gupta secured win by defeating Mr. Raj Kumar Singla with 44 votes.
