KARNAL: Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Dairy Science College of National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) will be held at this premier dairy research institute on 12th and 13th of this month as informed by Dr. Sushil Kumar, Director, of this institute.
He said today that during this programme a National Seminar on Dairy Education will also be organized in which Dr. K.M. Bujarbaruah, Deputy Director General (Animal Sciences) Indian Council of Agriculture Research New Delhi will be the Chief Guest, Dr. M. L. Madan, Vice-chancellor, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhaya Veterinary University and Cattle. Research Institute Mathura (UP) will be the guest of honour in the inaugural function.
Dr. G.R. Patil, Joint Director (Academics) of this institute who is also the Co-Chairman of the Organising Committee for this Seminar added that during the seminar various issues pertaining to research, teaching and education will be discussed and debated in different sessions.
He further said that in the Golden Jubilee Celebrations 500 delegates will participate and the alumni who were enrolled at this institute in the first batch of 1957-58 for B.Sc. (Dairy Husbandry) will be honoured. He further said that different awards will be conferred to the selected delegates on this occasion.
