Shimla: Anil Wilson today tendered his resignation form the position of Vice-chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, citing personal reasons for doing so.“I have served a one month notice as mandated by the university rules and have sought to be relieved from my responsibilitiesâ€, said Wilson.
Wilson is a well known administrator of academic institutions and prior to having taken up the assignment of vice-chancellorship at HPU was principal at the reputed St Stephens College, Delhi for many years.
As Editor, Ravinder Makhaik leads the team of media professionals at Hill Post.
In a career spanning over two decades through all formats of journalism in Electronic, Print and Online Media, he brings with him enough experience to steer this platform. He lives in Shimla.
That comes as a literal shock…
Mr.Wilson’s posting here had increased my expectations about both the repo and education standards of H.P.U….
Its a sad news especially for the students!!!
Dr. Wilson has plans of starting a Private University Of world level. University surely fetch him lot of money one reason.
Second reason of his resignation as vc is the sharp democratic politics of HPU campus. All his tools failed here
Repo and Education standards are always maintained by students by larger aspect so neha need not to worry
