Shimla: Additional Director, Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Lokender Chauhan, disclosed that State-level Women’s Day function would be organized on 8th March, 2008 on the Ridge, Shimla.
He said that exhibition of products of Women Self Help Groups and awareness generation about women related schemes and legislations; skits, debates, games and cultural programmes would be the main attractions of the function. He said that anganwari workers and women/girls excelling in various fields like education, social and sports would also be awarded.
