Shimla: Three persons died and seven others were seriously injured when the jeep they were traveling in, in Chamba district, went off the road and rolled down the hill.
The police stated that the accident occurred near Dadma Mor in the Bharamur valley of Chamba. Cause of the accident appeared to speed for the driver failed to control the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve, he said
The injured have been admitted to the government hospital at Bharmaur where some are said to be in a serious condition. The dead have been identified as Kashmir Singh, Dheeraj and Chaman Lal.
Elsewhere in Chamba district four labourers were injured, one of them seriously, while carrying out digging work.
The workers who were buried at a hydro electric site were rescued and have been admitted to the government hospital at Bharmaur.
