Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal today addressed a public meeting at Deot sidh in Badsar Sub Division of district Hamirpur. At the meeting he made major announcements such as to simplify the application procedure for various recruitments in different government departments.
The applications by the candidate will be accepted by the department on a plain paper which is self certified by the candidate and no other document will be required to be submitted alongwith the application, he said.
Moreover, the recruitments for Anganwari workers and helpers will also be carried out to the most deserving candidates and transparency will be maintained by the authorities to carry out recruitment, he added.
He also pointed out towards the insufficient power generation during the winter season and said that their government is trying to find permanent solution to the problem so that there was no power shortage in the State. He added that State Government was paying Rs. 7.70 per unit as subsidy to domestic consumers of the State during winter season as supply to domestic consumers was at the fixed rate of 70 paise per unit while the same was being purchased at a cost of Rs. 8.40 per unit. Thus, he requested the people not to waste electricity and use it wisely.
Dhumal said that his Government will accord top priority to redressal of public grievances and issued directions to the administration at all levels to redress grievances of the people by according top priority failing which, responsibility would be fixed upon concerned authorities who would be required to explain reasons for delay.
