Shimla: A good news for exceptionally talented and outstanding students in the age group of 10 to 14 years – Center for Cultural Resources and Training is implementing Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme on national level for students who are developing their talent in various cultural fields such as traditional forms of music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, craft and other folk and indigenous art forms.
A spokesman of the State Government revealed this yesterday and said that the children whose date of birth is in between 1st July, 1994 to 30th June, 1998 are eligible to apply for the award of scholarships for the year 2008-09. Moreover, in exceptional cases lower age limit can be relaxed up to two years.
Further he informed that the form can be photo copied/typed or downloaded free from the website. It can also be collected personally/by post, free of cost from the Headquarters in Delhi and Regional Centres at Hyderabad and Udaipur.
The last date for submission of forms was 31st December 2007.

I am Remya from Kerala..I wanted to participate for the CCRT scholarship…But when I got the form to fill and send,I understood that I missed the scholarship by two months…That is,The date of birth given in the form was between 1.7.1995 to 30.8.1999…So…I missed the scholarship by two months…I am really sad but I wanted to participate in the CCRT scholarship so badly that I already prepared some songs for that and now,the situation is this…..I am really really sad..
