Shimla: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today dismissed the challenge posed by Bhaujan Samaj Party by saying “had BSP found a more able and stable leader, the party could have made some difference in the elections.
“The BSP factor is being overrated and the electoral contest is between the Congress and the BJP,†he said.
About the BSP chief ministerial candidate Vijay Singh Mankotia, the chief minister said “he was a leader on the run.â€
“Everyone knows the track record of Mankotia, for he has changed many political parties and now he has even decided to contest from Dharamshala instead from Shahpur, a constituency he has been representing,†the chief minister said. “Clearly he feared losing in Shahpur,†he added.
“Now he has even deserted his voters and shifted to a new seat. People can never trust such kind of leaders,†said Virbhadra.
