Himachal Handicraft and Handloom Corporation Organizes an Exhibition-cum-Sale at Chandigarh

Himachal Pradesh State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation (SHHC) today organized an Exhibition-cum-Sale at Panchayat Bhawan, Sector-18, Chandigarh. The ceremony was inaugurated by Master Traditional Weaver, Lall Chand from Kullu and will remain open till 9th December, 2007.

D.K. Gupta, General Manager of H.P. SHHC, stated that the Exhibition will remain open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. up to 9.12.2007 and there will be free entry to the Exhibition. Moreover, buyers can avail a discount up to 20% on various products.

The event exhibits and sales many famous products of Himachal like pure wool Kullu, Kinnauri and Rabbit Wool Angoora Shawls, Woolen jackets and coats, Grass pullan, Lahauli Socks, Gem Stone Paintings, Himachali Socks and Caps from Bushair and Kullu, intricately embroidered Chamba Rumals, Woodcraft, Jewellery, Metal Craft, Bamboo material, Indo Himalayan Woolen Carpet, Ethnic Himachali Dolls and traditional Kangra Painting. In addition, you can purchase something to tickle your tongue like Kangra Tea and Himachal Honey and a wholesome goodness of herbal products of Himachal.
