Hamirpur: Former Union Minister and BJP Leader Shanta Kumar today claimed today that the people of Himachal Pradesh had been totally disillusioned with the congress government for its anti-people policies and rampant corruption. He claimed that BJP was poised to come to power in the forthcoming general elections.
Kumar who was addressing a public meeting at Bhambla about forty-five kilometers from here said the BJP on coming to power would annul all appointment s made by the congress government in violation of rules and flouting the directions of the Supreme Court.
He further announced that BJP if returned to power would ensure that pay scales, pensions and wages to all categories of employees were given on Punjab pattern without any discrimination.
He declared that rooting out corruption would be one of the top priorities of the BJP government and added that stringent action would be taken against corrupt persons in and outside the government.
