Shimla: Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, will be visiting Washington and New York between 7th to 12th October, 2007. In view of the growing financial collaboration between Government of Himachal Pradesh and the World Bank, the Union Ministry of Finance has facilitated meetings of the Chief Minister with the top executives of the World Bank.
Feasibility studies have been got completed by the Public Works Department for an additional project proposal of US$ 412 million.
The Indian Embassy in Washington and New York shall also be using the opportunity of the visit to organize meetings with the foreign investors.
