A Pick-Up Van accident took place near Bakras in Tehsil Shillai of Sirmaur district today. Nine persons are reported to have been killed in the accident.
Officers of the District Administration rushed to the accident site alongwith medical team to supervise the relief and rescue operations.
The accident happened when the driver of the van lost control, which sent the van down the hillside. The victims were on a religious trip to a temple in Sirmaur district.
Himachal Chief Minister directed the District Administration to provide all possible assistance to the affected families.
