Himachal CM said that the endeavour of the NSUI in organizing the State level function of Women Empowerment was a most befitting gesture of paying tribute to the iron lady of the country, Indira Gandhi.
He dedicated the Tribal Girls Hostel to the students of RKMV, Lakkar Bazar, Shimla today constructed at a cost of Rs. Two crore here today to accommodate 90 girl students conveniently.
He said that such function organized at different levels by the union also deserve appreciation. He emphasized the need of inculcating the nationalistic, patriotic and moral value in the development of the young generation to groom them as true citizens where NSUI could play pivotal role.
The college students to mark the occasion also presented a variety cultural programme.
