Thrissur, June 14 (IANS) Thirty-two principals of schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) completed their five-day training under a leadership development and school management programme that ended here Friday.
The programme was part of CBSE’s initiative to give formal lessons in effective leadership and school management to nearly 700 school principals in Kerala.
The classes were being handled by Santhosh Babu, a noted leadership and development trainer.
“I was delighted to see the energy levels of 32 principals attending the leadership programme. It would help them strengthen their leadership capabilities,” said Babu, who helped principals open their minds to modern ways of leading and managing schools.
Seven hundred more principals are to attend the programme during this academic year.
