Los Angeles, May 28 (IANS) Former Spice Girls’ band member Victoria Beckham has further distanced herself from a future reunion of the band after saying she doesn’t want to sing in public again.
Victoria reunited with the girl group for a world tour in 2007 and 2008 but has since made it clear she won’t be returning to the stage with her former bandmates, reports contactmusic.com.
The 39-year-old, who has become a leading fashion mogul, is quoted by German publication Icon as saying: “I will never do it again in a professional way.”
Instead, Victoria, who has four children, Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight, and 19-month-old Harper with soccer ace husband David, says that she is happy being part of the audience when her kids perform during school function.
“We are a very musical family, we sing and dance at home, the boys attend the school choir, play the guitar, (daughter) Harper likes to listen to songs from Little Mermaid and, like all mums do, I sing along with the kids in the car,” she said.
