Former deputy prime minister and senior BJP leader L K Advani promised a clean and a transparent state government on being voted to power at a public meeting in Baijnath.
He said that BJP government will wipe off the scourge of corruption from public life and will take essential measures to rein in the prices of essential commodities besides solving the problem of unemployment, which reached an alarming point during the present Congress government.
Further looking back to nuclear deal issue with the US he said, “The BJP would continue to oppose the deal as it was against the country’s interests and without even considering the views of the opposition.”
Cinestar and BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha lent some glamour to the BJP’s campaign by holding a rally at Darang in Mandi district.
