Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister gave away prizes and medals to the winners and runners up at the Prize Distribution Function of the 38th Summer National Bridge Championship which concluded at Barog in district Solan last evening and was hosted by Himachal Bridge Association.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that it was a matter of pride that the Bridge game was being included in the Olympics while it was already in the SAARC and other international spots competitions which confirms the popularity it was gaining world over. He said that State was privileged to host the National championship for the third time.
S.S. Parmar, Chief Secretary and President, Himachal Bridge Association welcomed Chief Minister and said that the 38th Summer National Bridge Championship was a grand success and 34 teams from all-over the country participated. He said that the State Association was privileged to host the championship.
