Setting on a tour of these lands that geographically are part of the south western parts of Tibet in personalised private transport, be it a personal car or a taxi could have its advantages but being out on a group travel in the luxurious coach presents a better community experience.

To make the tour affordable and something to experience, Himachal Tourism has started plying comfortable deluxe buses on the 476 Km Manali to Leh route for the benefit of tourists. The 35 seater coaches service would operate till 13th September.

Passing through the land of glaciers with alpine grasslands, crossing fast flowing streams and stopping by tranquil turquoise lakes, the journey provides a break at Keylong where it halts for a night. The dinner and breakfast here is complimentary. And all of this for just Rs 2900/-; the tour is a steal.

Dramatic Rohtang Pass

To give the visitor something really to remember, the coach does stop at all the vantage points of Rohtang Pass, Baralacha La, Tanglang La, Kharduung La and others where one can let the sight run along the vast chain of Himalayan snow peaks around.
