Dharamshala: Dr Garima, a second year post graduate student in the department of Pathology at Dr RP Government Medical college, Tanda was awarded the First Prize for a poster presentation at the International CME in Pathology, Histopathology and Cytopathology held in Goa from 1st to 3rd February 2019.
Dr. Bhanu Awasthi, Principal of Dr. RP Government Medical College, Tanda. said that Dr Garima bagging the first prize against a stiff competition was a a matter of pride for the college.
Dr. Garima had presented her paper on ‘Placental attachment to Foetal head – An extremely rare presentation’ which was adjudged the best amongst more than 100 participants from all over the country.
Dr. Awasthi added, “ such efforts by the students will not only motivate others in delivering their best, but also act as source of inspiration to other medical professionals.”
Arvind Sharma is an award winning bi-lingual journalist with more than 20 years of experience.
