A Snow Bounty Attracts Tourists To Manali

Manali: If, you love dreamy winter lands and of course snowfall, Manali, at this time of the year, has a lot to offer. Over the past two days, temperatures in towns across have been steadily dipping and a surprisingly heavy snowfall has left residents and tourists alike overjoyed.

The cold wave further intensified around Manali on Thursday and several high altitude regions in Kullu and Manali received fresh snowfall. The lower regions in the valley were lashed by heavy rain. Popular spots of Kothi and Gulaba near Manali have received good amount snow, piling up two to three feet many places.

By looking at the current weather condition, it seems like the Western Himalayas are once again geared up for heavy rain and snowfall activities.

In fact, light activities have already begun and isolated places of Western Himalayas have been experiencing light rain and snow since the last couple of days. Moreover, sky conditions remained cloudy over most places.

With a clear day, day temperatures have also slightly risen, however nights are still being felt as ‘very cold’. Moderate fog was observed over lower hills.
