Dharamshala: An army Jawan killed two colleagues before killing himself last night in the army area near McLeodganj.
Badri Singha, DSP Dharamshala briefed the media about the shooting incident. “Report of the incident has been registered with Police Station McLeodganj. Sepoy Jasbir Singh, a resident of Barnala (No 19010321 W of 18 Sikh A) was on Santri duty at Officers Mess from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. He with his service rifle Insas as well as one another rifle Insas went to a barrack and shot dead two person sleeping on their beds. The dead soldiers have been identified as Hav Hardeep Singh of Taran Taaran (No 33997712) and Nayak Harpal Singh of Gurdaspur (No 34040334). Later he shot himself dead too,” said Singha.
Police is further investigating matter and a forensic team has been called to spot. The incident spot has been cordoned, said the police officer.
