New Delhi, June 13 (IANS) It was pleasant morning in the capital Thursday, with cool winds and cloud cover, even as the minimum temperature settled at 30.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above average for this time of year. The Met office has forecast rain.
“The sky will remain cloudy, light rain and thunder showers are expected to occur in some areas of the city,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is expected to stay around 37 degrees Celsius, the IMD official said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 76 percent.
Wednesday’s maximum temperature stood at 39.2 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year, while the minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
