Los Angeles, May 18 (IANS) Singer Geri Halliwell feels the best way to test one’s music skills is by making children listen to them.
The 40-year-old is mother to Bluebell, seven. She makes her little one listen to her new tracks.
“My daughter listens to my own music, the way I test a really great song is to ask a child whether they like it,” thesun.co.uk quoted Halliwell as saying.
Halliwell is currently working on a new track with songwriter Amy Wadge, who was also the writer of singer Ed Sheeran’s songs in the past.
“Amy wrote ‘Gold rush’ with Ed Sheeran and we wrote in her shed together in Wales. I’m writing a new album and we’ve been doing stripped down, acoustic sets – I’m progressing to new sounds,” she said.
