New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is offering a masters programme on Gandhi and Peace Studies from the 2013 session, an official said today.
The Masters in Gandhi and Peace Studies (MGPS) is a two-year programme, which can be pursued by graduates of any discipline.
“The main aim is to provide quality education at the post-graduate level of Gandhian studies… to specialise in one of the Gandhian models of development,” the official statement said.
The last date to apply is June 15.
“The duration of the programme is two years. However, it can be completed in a maximum period of five years,” the statement said.
According to the varsity, the prospectus form is available at IGNOU for Rs.200 and all its regional centres. For further information aspirants can log on to website www.ignou.ac.in.
IGNOU is the world’s largest open university system with a pan-India and international reach with flexible entry qualifications and a wide range of academic programmes at affordable costs, the varsity said.
