Kolkata, May 6 (IANS) Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) major Emami Ltd Monday reported a 29.9 percent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs.94 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013, compared to Rs 72.37 crore for the same period a year ago.
Consolidated net sales for the company during the quarter under review stood at Rs.451 crore, a more than 13 percent hike compared to corresponding period previous year.
For the full financial year, turnover at Rs.1,699 crore grew by 16.9 percent, while profit after tax at Rs.315 crore grew by 21.6 percent, a company release said.
