Dharamsala: In what appeared to be a case of road rage, two young men last night died in a clash on a road close to Dharamsala.
Deputy superintend police (DySP) of Palampur, Manmohan Singh said that the dead had been identified as Basu Katoch (23) and Vir Bhadra (20). Both the young men are said to be from tehsil Palampur.
Police preliminary investigations hold that one group of boys was headed for a pilgrimage in a jeep to Mani Mahesh in Chamba district when they ended up in a fight with another group on the road, resulting in the death of two of them.
Nine boys have been rounded up and are being questioned in connection with these murders, said the police officer.
