Shimla : Rajeev Bindal maybe the health minister of Himachal Pradesh but that doesn’t stop him from taking lessons on finance and value added tax(VAT) from the Europeans these days.
Bindal has a background of being a successful ayurvedic doctor.But he is now a part of high level empower committee delegation of the union ministry of finance to Europe.
Bindal is representing Himachal Pradesh. The first meeting of the committee took place with the finance minister of France and other officials.
This was followed by a meeting with Secretary General(Finance) Spain in Madrid.
Discussions and presentations about VAT and other tax structures in Spain and the European Union(EU) were held for two days.
Interestingly Spain is reeling under a huge financial crisis for a while and the Indian delegation has chosen to take tips on running its finances from the Spaniards.

these are the excuses ,for these politicians , to enjoy at the cost of tax payers ,while going on these type of study /education tours,with no results. any improvement /developments are done only on the bases of local envorements and not on borrowed thoughts. indian have the best brains and can give the best ,but then how these people will enjoy free of cost.
