Shimla: Cashing in on the peak tourist rush, Himachal Tourism intends to layout out a week long food festival of delicacies from different parts of the country as well local cuisines at the flag ship Hotel Holiday Home here.
“Starting June 10,†said Vineet Kumar, MD of HP Tourism Development Corp, “the food festival would be accompanied with attractive cultural evenings.†The festival would close on June 19.
It has been a custom of organizing traditional food festivals and cultural evenings during peak seasons, says Kumar.
In this festival, cuisines of various regions will be got prepared by the chefs from the related region, he said. Avdhi dishes will be of more attractions this time and the menu will change on daily basis, he added.
