Dental doctors strike, demand jobs

Shimla: With diminishing prospects of jobs, dental doctor today held a silent protest demanding creating openings at primary and community health centers in government hospitals.

“The protest is being held,” says Akarshan Chauhan, “because the government says that there were no job opening and nothing can be done for them.”

He was referring to a delegation of dental doctors meeting health minister Rajiv Bindal, who expressed helpless at securing jobs for them.

“Our demands include creating of dentist openings at PHC and CHC’s as there was a large section of population which does not have access to dental healthcare,” says Chauhan.

    Well Health minister doesn’t have any solution and he is hardly concerned about current situation.
    He should come out with white paper on Heath facilities.There is provision of Dentist in everry PHC and CHC but he is not interested to fill the post.
    Agitation should be increased at bigger scale.
