Himachal court judges contribute for Leh victims

Shimla, Oct 28 (IANS) The judicial officers of Himachal Pradesh have collected over Rs.4 lakh to rehabilitate people affected by the flashfloods in Leh in Jammu and Kashmir, an official said here Thursday.

Keeping in line with the humanitarian approach towards the victims of natural disasters, the judicial officers have contributed a sum of Rs.446,998 for the victims of Leh floods, Himachal Pradesh High Court registrar general D.C. Chaudhary told IANS.

The amount was contributed towards the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
