Solan: Residents of Solan woke up to a pleasant surprise as the dark skies prolonged the night and it started to snow.
Soon the higher peaks changed colour and snow white dominated the landscape.
Locals recall that they are seeing snow around Solan hills after six or seven years, says Pankaj Khullar, a keen nature enthusiast and environmentalist.
