Shimla Motorcycle Challenge Round 4 to begin on 6th December

A record number of 42 entries have been received so far for the Round 4 of the Shimla Motorcycle Challenge that is taking place at Shoghi on Saturday, 6th of December.

Even as almost all the riders who had participated in the previous rounds of the Shimla Motorcycle Challenge have filled in their entries, the number of newcomers has also increased substantially. As in previous rounds, riders from Delhi, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Ludhiana, Jammu and various parts of Himachal will be coming to participate in the Shimla Motorcycle Challenge.

Scrutiny will take place on Friday, 5th of December and the races will take place on Saturday, 6th of December at Vatika Resort, Shoghi from 9 am onwards.

Round 4 will mark the end of the Championship for 2008 and the leading riders in their Class will be crowned with the title of the Shimla Motorcycle Champion in the prize distribution ceremony that will be held at the venue on the 6th from 5.30 pm onwards.

The Federation of Motorsport Clubs of India (FMSCI) has appointed their Regional Director – North India, SPS Garcha as the Chief Steward for the event.
