Beating the likes of Camarque, on the delta of Rhone River in France or the Buddhist city of Kyoto in Japan, the Himalayan getaway at an altitude of 2,500 meters makes it to the top position among an impressive list of destinations that figure in the ‘Dream Destinations: 100 of the World’s Best Vacations‘, in the latest issue of Life Books, reports Reuters.
Others that follow on the list are The Cinque Terre in Italy, Montreal in Canada, Brussels in Belgium, Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, Napa Valley in California, The Inn at Little Washington and last on the list of 10 is Lake Wanaka in New Zealand.
