It is a great gift from central govt. to Hilly state which is catching up very fast in the field of education i.e. about 90%. Students of HP really were in need of this quality education at their door step. Let us hope that with the coming up of IIts almost in every state the quality of education for which these institutions are known world over will be maintained by the planners and politricians. HP meritorious students will have another responsibility to work hard and live up to the expectations of an iitian and the achievers have to see that the name of IIT Himachal come up very soon in education standards to the national level.

  2. INDIA IS A DEVELOPING STATE.THE EXISTING IIT’S BE UPGRADED AND ENSURE WORLD CLASS EDUCATION.THE IIT COURSES MUST BE ACCREDITED BY ABET.AN UNIFORM EXAM SYSTEM FOR ALL IIT’S BE INDUCTED BY A STATUTORY BOARD. THE GOVT SHOULD INCREASE SEATS IN IIT’S.POENING MORE IIT’S IS NOT THE SOLUTION BUT FOR REGIONALISM AND VOTE BANK————
