A new institute of Hotel Management would come up at Hamirpur as the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has approved central financial assistance of 10 crores for it. While 8 crores have been sanctioned for construction work of the Institute, 2 crores have been approved for the equipments. The construction work of the Institute will be expedited in order to be completed by the year 2009. The work would be executed by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.
