Shimla: The abstract of a transfer policy for government employees was today presented to Chief Minister P.K.Dhumal by a cabinet sub-committee headed by Thakur Gulab Singh, the public works minister and comprising of I.D. Dhiman, Education Minister, J.P. Nadda, Forest Minister as its members.
Chief Minister said that views of various organizations would be taken into account so as to make it more practical. He further said that the government would do its best to maintain cordial relations with its employees and provide them with financial benefits from time to time. The report would be discussed in the cabinet and other recommendations made by others would be evaluated to make it beneficial, he added.
It is worth pointing out that recently, a 5 % interim relief was released to employees.
