I am a retired Tehsildar from Himachal Pradesh Revenue Department. A Senior Citizen at the age of 74, I own a building which has four rooms that provides all facilities like water, electricity and bathroom. The accommodation is being used by the Local Post office as we had signed a deed on 1st Aug, 2003 leasing them the property on a monthly rental of Rs.1100 till 31st July 2008. The deed makes it clear that I am liable to increase the rent every one year.
However, till date they haven’t paid the increased rent. I have written to the Superintendent of Dharamsala regarding this matter but it seems except exchanging letters nothing else has been done yet. I am a retired government employee and have the building as the only means of money. You will be surprised to know that I have also been paying for the maintenance charges of the Post office.
I would appeal to the PO to either give me my due or vacate the building, so that I can put this accommodation on rent. I plead justice and an immediate action. I would be grateful enough if the same can be achieved before the agreement ends.

When Government Deptts. will do such acts, more worse can be expected from the general tenants.
I think if Deptt. is not being cooperative, you should move to court for justice.
