Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister presided over the Passing Out Parade of lower, inter and upper course trainees at Police Training Centre, Daroh in district Kangra today. He inspected the impressive passing out parade and took salute of Contingents commanded by Constable Rajeev Kumar.
Prof. Dhumal announced 15 percent teaching allowance to all the officers and trainers of PTC Daroh at par with other counterparts of the cadre. He said that recruitment of 1400 police constables would be carried out district-wise in proportion to the population of the districts of the State in order to give fair representation to eligible unemployed youth.
Chief Minister awarded Surender Verma, DSP, PTC Daroh, Insp. Gurmail Singh of PTC Daorh for their meritorious services.
He awarded HC Ajeet Singh of CID for being adjudged as All Round Best and Indoor 1st, HC Sher Singh of Mandi district for Outdoor 1st, HC Suresh Kumar of Sirmaur for Range Classification 1st. In the lower class, Constable Rajeev Kumar of District Shimla was All Round Best and Indoor 1st and Parade Commander, Const. Bhaskar Mahajan of Chamba as Outdoor 1st, Const. Birbal Singh of Kinnaur as Range Classification 1st while Const. Anil Kumar of Bilaspur as Best in cultural activities.
Among the staff, Const. Dama Ram as Best Instructor in UAC, HC Des Raj as Best Outdoor Instructor, SI Mohan Lal PTC (lower) as Best Indoor Instructor, SI Ravinder Kumar, PTC (Inter) as Best Indoor Instructor. All awardees were given citation certificate and momento in recognition of their meritorious achievements.
