A 5-member delegation including eminent lawyers from the Human Rights Law Network (HRLN), visited the Central Tibetan administration, major Tibetan institutions and NGOs based in Dharamshala from 22 to 24 October.
The HRA activists are highly upset with the violation of Human rights in Chinese occupied Tibet and therefore extend their helping hand to the Tibetans located here and other parts of World.
The HRLN, since its inception in 1989 has evolved into a large human rights organization with a network of 25 offices across India , consisting of lawyers and social activist dedicated to the use of legal system to advance human rights and ensure access to justice to all sections of society.
At a press conference held at the Department of Information and International Relations, the delegation launched the Hindi version of their bimonthly magazine, Combat Law. The magazine highlights diverse issues ranging from some of the most of pressing legal, human rights, social and political issues.
In his address, Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, member of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, gave a brief introduction of the delegation’s purpose of visiting Dharamshala and their commitment towards protecting human rights situation in Tibet and providing legal aid to Tibetans living in exile.
In his address the managing editor of the Combat Magazine, Harsh Dobhal said, “After getting a first hand information about Tibet on visiting Central Tibetan Administration and other institutions, we decided to focus on the issue of Tibet in bringing out this special issue to highlight the problems face by Tibetan people.”
He said, “Our strength lies in judicial intervention, so we decided to render free judicial aid to Tibetans living in India” adding, “We will work with them in close association in strengthening their struggle for justice.”
I am pursuing a 2 year Post Graduate Diploma Human Rights from National Institute of Human Rights Delhi. Also I am a Post Graduate in English, “a 2006 pass out from Himachal Pardesh Universityâ€. I belong to Himachal Pardesh and my native place is Jaisinghpur in Kangra District.
I born in Chandigarh and brought up in Patiala. Now days I am working with an American Bank Quatrro, Gurgaon as an associate of its legal cell. My total experience is of 3-4 years.
I think my life is made for humanity and all I want to do is to get myself enrolled with Human Right activists. Kindly let me know the scope in this field and how I can work with big organizations or NGOs.

There is no use doing this course if u want to stay in HP coz i myself am looking for an oppurtunity to work in the related field after completing the same course since past 10 months from the same institution.
