Technical Education board has revised admission schedule of counseling for admission to various courses under State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) for the session 2007-08.
Last date for receipt of application form at respective Zonal Counseling Centres i.e. Mandi Zone at ITI (PH) Sundernagar (for Mandi, Bilaspur, Kullu and Lahaul–Spiti districts), Solan Zone at ITI Solan (for Solan, Sirmour, Shimla and Kinnaur districts) and Kangra Zone at Government Polytechnic College, Kangra (for Kangra, Chamba, Hamirpur and Una districts ) would be 3rd August, 2007 upto 5.00 P.M.
For Matric-level courses, 1st round of counseling for SC category and its sub-reserve categories viz. Defence, Freedom Fighters, Physically Handicapped, IRDP, Sports and Backward Area, the counseling would be on 11th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM. For ST & OBC categories and its sub categories viz. Defence, Freedom Fighters, Physically Handicapped, IRDP, Sports and Backward Area, it would be on 12th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM. For sub-reserve categories of General category viz. Defence, Freedom Fighters, Physically Handicapped, IRDP, Sports and Backward Area, it would be on 13th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM. 1st round of counseling for General category would be on 14th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM, he added.
For 10+2 level courses, 1st round of counseling for SC, ST & OBC categories and its sub reserve categories viz. Defence, Freedom Fighters, Physically Handicapped, IRDP, Sports and Backward Area would be on 16th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM. For General category and its sub-reserve categories viz. Defence, Freedom Fighters, Physically Handicapped, IRDP, Sports and Backward Area it would be on 17th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM. Regular classes would start w.e.f. 23rd August, 2007.
2nd round of counseling for all categories and their sub- reserve categories for vacant seats of Matric level courses would be on 27th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM. Similarly, 2nd round of counseling for all categories and their sub-reserve categories for vacant seats of 10+2 level courses would be on 28th August, 2007 at 10.00 AM. Last round of counseling for all categories for vacant seats (if any) would be on 5th September, 2007 at 10.00 AM.
