Himachal CM inaugurated ceremony of the four days long, State Level Holi Festival at Palampur in district Kangra last evening.
Virbhadra Singh said that Holi festival of Palampur was one of the traditional festivals of the State, celebrated with great enthusiasm decades. He said that such festivals were instrumental in promoting and strengthening social and religious harmony amongst all sections of the society besides boosting universal brotherhood in right perspective
Chief Minister also released a book ‘Word Power-A Compendium of Effective English’ authored by Dr. Rajan Katoch on the occasion. He also inaugurated the exhibitions put up by various Departments, Self Help Groups and NGOs to mark the occasion.
