A Spokesman of Youth Services and Sports Department informed here today that the Department in collaboration with Tourism and Civil Aviation Department was conducting the All India 2nd Great Himalayan Run at 11.00 A.M. at Shimla on 12th November, 2006. He said that about 3000 athletes were expected to participate for the run and added that the groups would be of Open Men, 12 K.M., Open women, 8 K.M., Boys and Girls 17 to 19 below 19 years, 6 K.M., Boys and Girls above 13 and below 16 years, 3 K.M. He said that the route of the Run would be Ridge to Chaura Maidan, Advance Study and back to Scandal Point, Reporting Room, Indira Gandhi State Sports Complex Shimla Club, Oakover, Portmore, Raj Bhawan, Indus Hospital, Hostel Medical College, I.G.M.C., Lakkar Bazar, Ridge.
