Manali: Police on patrol duty in this tourist resort township was tipped of about one person being in possession of an illegal weapon.
Police officer KD Sharma disclosed that on raiding the room where Sadam, a resident of Kadam Gachi, Bihar, a revolver with one live cartridge and 7 empty one were recovered. Sadam has been working as a contractor in Manali for the last 4 years, he added.
The police after slapping a case under Indian Arms Act have arrested Sadam. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
