Aircel goes live with 3G services in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla: Aircel upgraded its mobile telephony network in Himachal Pradesh by announcing launch of 3G services in the circle.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Harish Sharma, vice-president North, “Customers in the state can now use high-speed mobile internet with an average speed of up to 2 Mbps and enjoy live-streaming of videos, HD content, gaming, social networking and internet browsing seamlessly.”

When quizzed about other players having launched 4G services, Sharma said that they were not in competition with 4G players in the circle as they were a value for money players and had introduced two new 3G data packs for all its customers in Himachal Pradesh.IMG_20160617_122021

Aggressively priced at Rs. 169 and Rs. 198, the former offers 1 GB of 3G Data for 28 days and the latter offers a Talk Time of Rs. 30 in addition to 1GB of 3G Data for 28 days, encouraging more people to ‘be online with Aircel’ at the most affordable costs, he said.

Compared to other mobile network’s our growth was twice as much as the average industry growth in the circle and moreover we have a very loyal customer base in Himachal Pradesh, said Deepinder Tiwana, Business Head – Punjab & Himachal Pradesh, Aircel.

“We’ve witnessed a sharp rise in Data users in the last one year, which clearly demonstrated the need for 3G. The two newly introduced 3G packs at unbeatable prices in HP offer the best value-for-money to customers, claimed Tiwana.

The Aircel executives claimed to have a 10 lakh subscribers to the network in Himachal Pradesh
