Mumbai, May 13 (IANS) Eminent photo-journalist Jagdish Mali, father of actress Antara Mali, passed away Monday morning.
Jagdish passed away at the Nanavati hospital here. He was in his 60s.
Sources from the hospital confirmed the news and said: “Yes. Jagdish Mali passed away today morning.”
The reason behind his death is unknown and his relatives are said to be not keen on disclosing it.
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit expressed condolence on micro-blogging site Twitter: “Ace photographer Jagdish Mali passed away at 11.20 am today(Monday) at Nanawati Hospital. Will miss you jaggi. RIP.”
Jagdish was recently in news when he was said to be found roaming disoriented and dishevelled on the streets of Mumbai.
