Kuwait City, May 14 (IANS/WAM) Kuwait will Tuesday celebrate the golden jubilee of its membership with the UN.
The KUNA news agency has issued a special publication titled “Kuwait and the United Nations” to mark the country’s special and distinguished ties with the UN since it joined the organisation May 14, 1963.
The book documents the main historic stages in relations between the two sides since Kuwait’s admittance to the organisation in 1963.
The book also gives an account of the important crises that Kuwait faced and the UN’s role in their solution.
