Los Angeles, May 17 (IANS) Actor Chris Pine says the qualities he seeks in a woman are intelligence and humour because after the initial attraction fades away, there has to be something engaging.
Pine recently broke up with his model-girlfriend Dominique Piek after dating her for almost a year.
“I think anything that any normal man would be looking for. I mean intelligence and beauty and someone who can make me laugh,” contactmusic.com quoted the 32-year-old actor as saying.
He added: “Well, you have to be able to carry a conversation. I think after the initial attraction kind of dies down, the lust dies down. There has to be the thing that engages you.”
The “Star Trek” actor had previously admitted that he is a late bloomer.
He said: “I was a shy kid, a late bloomer. At 22, I was probably 16 emotionally.”
“Therapy’s like going to the gym. We have one shot at this life, and we have all these potentials and capabilities, so what I’m interested in is how can you live so that by the end, you’ve truly investigated yourself and lived life to the full,” he added.
