Icy cold and cloudy again in Himachal

Shimla : There was sudden change in the weather in Himachal Pradesh Saturday as a sunny sky became cloudy and foggy along with icy winds lashing the hill state .
Weekend tourists in large numbers in Shimla and Manali are hoping it will snow soon even as the weather office says it may snow in the higher elevations .
The weather man has also forecast further snowfall next week as a fresh western disturbance will affect the state from Jan 31 onwards .
Bone chilling cold continues in the twin tribal districts of Kinnaur and Lahaul & Spiti . With Keylong recording a minimum temperature of minus 12 C while it was minus 5.6 C in Kalpa .
In Shimla the mercury fell to freezing point and it was minus 2.2 C in Manali .
